Property Description

The Homeboy Turner & Earl Nature Reserve is a 288-hectare protected area located in the Town of Huntsville and Muskoka Lakes Township in the Muskoka Region, donated generously by Ross and Sylvia Earl with financial support from the MapleCross Fund.

The Homeboy Turner & Earl Nature Reserve is Muskoka Conservancy’s largest Protected Area to date, comprised of expansive mixed-wood forests, over 18 acres of pristine wetlands, and over 5200 meters of sensitive shorelines and riparian areas on Lambert Lake and a second, unnamed lake.

These ecosystems provide suitable habitats for a plethora of biodiversity including numerous species at risk and megafauna such as moose and black bear.
